Leonardo Da Vinci, the Renaissance Artist,  produced the drawing of the  Vitruvian Man in circa 1490. The drawing represents Leonardo's conception of ideal body proportions, originally derived from Vitruvius but influenced by his own measurements. The drawing is described by Leonardo's notes as Le proporzioni del corpo umano secondo Vitruvio, variously translated as The Proportions of the Human Figure after Vitruvius.
 
In a world of Diversity, I thought a depiction of this with the female form would be an alternative view of Leonardp's drawing. This painting stirred some controversy in my Artist's group - some people said it reminded them of how vulnerable and exposed a Rape Victim would feel. My own experience of bullying also made me feel very vulnerable and exposed - and like Rape the Victim always has the burden of proof.
 
The original of this work is done on (A2) high-quality 350 gsm artist paper and was done in Inktense paint, Posca markers and oxides.  There are both Limited edition and Unlimited prints of this piece in (A1), (A2) and (A3) on high-quality paper.
