When you suffer from depression, anxiety and CPTSD it is hard to let your imagination even contemplate being well - this painting was an attempt to depict the imagination taking flight. Trying to imagine a time when you are no longer sick when you are able to connect with the world and the people around you. The butterflies are a symbol of freedom and escape.
 
The original work was done in Acrylic paint, inks, stencil media and Posca markers.  Size  (A3) 297 X 420. There are now Limited Edition and Open Edition Prints of this piece available.
