This piece is part of the Jungle Series - these are highly decorative scenes with a botanical theme - leaves, gourds and abstract shapes. This piece used all the glorious Autumn colours of red, orange, and yellow were created with a limited palette. The notanized (black and white) patterns create a graphic sense of the jungle's rhythms.
 
The original work was done on a 400 x 400 cradled birchwood panel. There are both Limited and Open edition prints of this work in 400 x 400 and 750 x 750 on high-quality paper.
